SEO Manager - Delete custom redirect URL
As an EPiServer administrator I want to delete a custom redirect URL.
Welcome to this video about SEO Manager for EPiServer.
I'm going to show you how to remove a custom redirect URL.
In this demo we have a custom redirect URL that will redirect visitors from "/sv/Tjanster/Anvandare" to "/sv/produkter"
Let's go to the SEO Manager administration interface and view the custom redirect URL.
I will first change the language filter to Swedish because it's a Swedish URL.
When I have found the redirected URL that I want to remove I just click on the trashcan and remove it.
We will now go to edit mode and look at the URL view of the, to see if the URL has been removed.
When scrolling down to view previous URLs we can see that yes, the URL I removed is gone.
We will now go back to the site and try the old custom redirect URL again. As you can see it has been removed and we are redirected to a 404 page. If you want to use your custom 404 page you have to make configuration changes to web.config or add the URL in SEO manager as a 404 URL.
