Instant Nether Roof Elevator (NO Bedrock Breaking Required!) | Tutorial [Java 1.21+]
Welcome to today’s video, where I’ll show you how to build the Nether Roof Elevator, a simple and efficient system that allows you to choose whether your portal will take you to the bottom of the Nether or to the Nether roof, all with just a press of a note block!
The best part? You don’t need to drill through bedrock, and you can teleport seamlessly between two different locations in the Nether. In this video, we’ll walk through the steps, materials, and redstone mechanics involved in creating this incredible elevator system.

⚙️Key Mechanics:
• You will set up two portals in the Nether: one at Y=64 and one on the Nether roof.
• The game will prioritize the bottom portal, but with the press of a button, we can toggle the portal to the roof by deactivating the bottom one using redstone.
• I will guide you through all the steps needed to build and operate this system effectively.
• I will also teach you how to get on the nether roof in the first place, using ladders and ender pearls to glitch us through the bedrock.
By the end of the video, you will have a fully functioning Nether Roof Elevator, allowing you to travel between both layers with ease!

• 2:27- Getting to the Nether Roof: When you reach the bedrock, start digging around and look for a bedrock that is at Y127.To help you find this you can use the F3 screen and the targeted block info on the right side. Mark the coordinates of the block and save them for later. When you find bedrock that is at y127, build a ladder all the way up to it and climb as high as you can. When you reach the top throw an ended pearl into the fourth bottom pixel of the bedrock while holding W to keep climbing up. This should get you on the roof. If you fail, try throwing a few more pearl while aiming up.
