Paper Mario: TTYD: Doopliss Battle - MIDI Metal Remix
A symphonic metal cover of the Doopliss battle theme.
This is something I've been wanting to do since first hearing it back in 2020. Now with the remake having come out recently-ish, I figured it's a good time to finally get to it.
Arrangement-wise, things were pretty straight-forward. That is, until the loop point of the track, where I wanted to include a original segment. The idea of what to do came to me quickly, but the exact execution of it went through a bunch of iterations, with my trying out different chord voicings and instrumentation.
Time spent working on the track: 12 hours.
