Arcades in the 90's had such a different vibe. I truly had an unbelievable amount of fun atop those horrible neon carpets over the years. Such a strong hit of nostalgia. I think it calls for a retrospective.
From fighting games, to beat 'em ups, to sports games, to racing games, it felt like there was something for everyone. In this video, we'll talk about the very best arcade games to come out back then.
Whether you went to a dedicated building for the full arcade experience or you were just stopping off in the side room of a movie theater, you always had a good time.
I went on a trip to Tokyo in Japan a couple of years ago, and arcades just never died over there. In fact, they have some of the most unique and vibrant arcades you'll ever see.
Being put back into that over the top environment with flashing lights and loud menu music blaring from every direction, I was immediately thrown back to being a kid in the 90's. I had no idea how much I missed that feeling.
