Emulators on a 68K Mac: Insignia SoftWindows & Q-emulator -
In this journal entry, for #MARCHintosh2022, I'll take a look at some emulators that were available in the 90's for the Macintosh. The Q-emulator is currently one of the more popular Sinclair QL emulators, running on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. It initially was developed in 1995. Insignia SoftWindows was a popular Macintosh emulation platform, having support for up to Windows 98. I'll be showing an older version running Windows 3.1, the version I originally ran on my Mac IIsi in the mid 90's
