JEX#13 - A Bitter Cry

Goal: Create a piece that contrasts high volume high energy against light volume mellow mood in the same track.
Genre: Nu Jazz
Style: Power Puff Girls meet Najee
Lessons Learned: The stereo mix can be effectively used to fill the track giving it the perception of loudness, and used to give it the perception of quietness even when instruments are playing at the same volume.
Things to Change: Re-record the 1st 8 bars to set the mood better. Perhaps a drier reverb. Different video encoding, it sounds a LOT better before it goes through the compression and upload processes.
