Our New Dad Life: Sleepless Nights, Endless Love
This week as new fathers has been full of firsts and learning experiences! We’re adjusting to life with less sleep, but every moment with our baby girl Nox is worth it. Her first checkup went wonderfully, and she passed her hearing test with flying colors. Nox is thriving, and her cries are teaching us the ropes of parenthood in ways we never imagined.
Meanwhile, back in France, Simon's parents are keeping the renovation of our French farmhouse on track with incredible speed. They're tackling everything from painting and plastering to bricklaying, and making sure our vegetable garden survives the summer heat. Their hard work is getting us one step closer to turning our farmhouse into a cozy home.
In between caring for Nox, we're also getting our van ready for the big trip back to France. We had to fix a broken headlight and repair the spare tire, but now everything is set. Although we’re spending one more week in the Netherlands, we can’t wait to return to our farmhouse and continue our renovation journey. Our home is waiting, and we’re excited to make it the perfect place for our new family.
