Elephant Training - Have Trunk Will Travel Undercover Abuse
Have Trunk Will Travel has been caught on video numerous times abusing their elephants.
If you love Have Trunk Will Travel you must hate elephants or maybe you are unaware of the severe abuse you are supporting. All it takes is one YouTube search & you will find many videos of them hitting & jabbing their animals, using electric prods, forcing them into unimaginably cruel "tricks" like headstands, their abuse of baby elephants & how they chain the elephants. This is how they train them for the circus, for movies, tv shows/commercials, for weddings & events & for elephant rides- through violence, threats of violence, depravation & brute force. I understand why people love elephants, I love them too but sometimes our love for them is why they are so abused. We want to be close to them, to ride them, to touch them but to do so is at the expense of their freedom, their dignity & their rights. With circuses, elephant rides & entertainment comes inherent cruelty beyond the physical abuse. It comes with confinement, separation of families, being chained & living a completely unnatural life. Asian elephants are indeed endangered but forcing them into captivity doesn't solve the problem of poaching, human overpopulation & encroaching on their land. The question isn't if Have Trunk Will Travel abuses their elephants, that much is fact- these videos are not CGI y'all & there's just no way to edit such things. So the question becomes whether you care enough to not contribute to it? To use your voice for these animals & speak out against HTWT. Be a compassionate person & put their NEED of life & freedom over your own selfish WANTS of a few moments of "entertainment". Animals used in entertainment is a dying business & we don't need more animal trainers, we need more animal advocates & protectors not exploiters.
Please don't ride elephants. Don't support circuses or theme parks that use animals.
