Why weren’t Imperial Inquisitors replaced after being killed? We know there were at least ten Inquisitors at one point, but as they were picked off one by one over the next sixteen years or so, why were their ranks never replenished? I would guess there weren’t many potential replacements to choose from. The Inquisitors were all fallen Jedi who had turned before Order 66, or were captured afterwards and tortured into servitude. With most of the Jedi gone, finding new Inquisitors would be no easy feat. That’s probably why Inquisitors were also in charge of capturing Force-sensitive children, so the Emperor could continue raising a new army of dark side wielders under his command.
