Alright yogis - In this tutorial, we'll explore the importance of using the correct vinyasa to exit Pincha Mayurasana, the forearm balance, in the second series of Ashtanga Yoga. I'll offer you a few tips & techniques for refining the movement - and go on to demonstrate a few exercises for building the necessary strength and movement pattern integration that will build a solid foundation for you to progress towards practicing the full form of this complex vinyasa. Jumping back to Chaturanga Dandasana from the feathered peacock position is a movement that is very commonly skipped past, even by seasoned practitioners, so hopefully this short video helps demonstrate that it's not only worthwhile, but also accessible.
