My family is crazy about Mario Kart, and at my child's request, we decided to buy an add-on course pass!
This time, instead of using a credit card, I tried purchasing the add-on pass using a Nintendo Gift Card.
It's called a Nintendo Prepaid Card, and it's sold at electronics retailers and convenience stores.
The Nintendo Prepaid Card can be used on the Nintendo eShop and can be topped up to 20,000 yen.
Please note that you cannot top up your balance by purchasing a Nintendo Online Card or individual add-on content cards.
Nintendo Prepaid Cards are cards with denominations printed on them, and are available in 1,500, 3,000, 5,000, and 9,000 yen denominations.
