Your Pixel Watch can play Amazon Music!
If you're a Prime member who uses Amazon Music or has an Amazon Unlimited subscription, make sure you set up Amazon Music on your Pixel Watch!
If you download playlists and albums in advance, you can listen to music on your Pixel Watch even when you're away from your smartphone, in places without a signal, or even while exercising.
You can download the Amazon Music app from the Play Store on your Pixel Watch or your smartphone.
Even if the app is installed on your smartphone, it will not work if it's not installed on your Pixel Watch, so please install it.
Once installed, it will appear in the list of apps on your Pixel Watch. Tap to launch it.
When you launch the Amazon Music app for the first time, a code will be displayed, allowing you to register with your Amazon account.
Open a browser on your smartphone or computer, enter the registration URL, log in to Amazon, and enter the code.
Once registered, the Amazon Music app home screen will open.
You can search for songs, settings, playback, and more by turning the crown or sliding the screen down.
However, the Pixel Watch will not play sound.
You will need an external Bluetooth-enabled speaker or earphones.
I use Amazon Echo Buds earphones, connected to my Pixel Watch.
To pair, tap "Pair with a New Device."
Wait for the Pixel Watch to recognize the Echo Buds.
Once recognized, tap the button on the Echo Buds.
Pairing is complete.
Use the Amazon Music app to search for music to listen to on your Pixel Watch.
To connect, you need to connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The LTE version of the Pixel Watch does not require a Wi-Fi connection.
Select the artist, album, or song name to play.
Tap the bottom of the player screen to display the control screen, where you can mute, adjust the volume, repeat, and play randomly.
It's important to note that if you don't download a playlist or album to your Pixel Watch, you won't be able to play songs without your smartphone or in areas with no signal.
Download playlists, albums, and individual songs while connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth or the same Wi-Fi!
Slide the song you want to download from the list from right to left.
The download button will appear; tap it to begin downloading.
Don't worry, downloaded playlists, albums, and songs can be easily deleted.
Downloaded songs can be listened to from the playlist or album in the Downloads folder.
Turn the crown to adjust the volume.
Due to copyright restrictions, you can't stream the song you're currently playing, but music plays smoothly and lag-free through headphones.
Songs you no longer listen to are easy to delete, so delete them to free up storage space on your Pixel Watch.
Without enough storage space, your Pixel Watch may begin to slow down.
When you're away from your smartphone or in an area with no signal, you can easily select downloaded playlists and albums by switching to offline playback mode.
It'd be a shame if you had playlists or albums that weren't fully downloaded.
To listen to Amazon Music on your Pixel Watch, you'll need external Bluetooth speakers or earphones.
If you exercise often or often go to places without signal, be sure to get some!
Your Pixel Watch can track your activity while you're walking or jogging, so make the most of it.
