If you keep wondering "how many backlinks do I need” for a keyword, this video shows a simple way to work out the number of backlinks needed from what’s already ranking in Google Search. I use Ahrefs, but you can do the same with Semrush.
You’ll check keyword intent first, then compare domain strength, referring domains, and the backlink profile of the top 3 pages. After that, we review the ranking page so you can see what’s really driving ranking: on-page, user experience, and technical SEO.
