Mr. Smith is an internationally renowned opera singer, awarded with prestigious Emmy and Grammy awards. He has been featured as a soloist on National TV and his life came to a halt in 2022 when he was diagnosed with ESKD and started on hemodialysis at a clinic 3 times a week.His career as an internationally acclaimed artist involved frequent travels and tours and he suffered a lot while on hemodialysis. However, with his will and determination, he pursued the option of peritoneal dialysis and got back on his feet to continue his performances and got back on the stage. His performances remain forever brilliant, and he truly came out as a rising phoenix.
We filmed this movie a year later to bring his inspirational story as a beacon of hope for many who may be struggling with ESKD or any other chronic illness. It is a reminder that with determination and the right medical treatment, we can continue chasing our dreams and living fulfilling lives.
