Is it G-20 or Modi-20?
If you're in Delhi, look at the roads leading to Pragati Maidan. There are no posters of guests arriving from around the world. Even the billboards at bus stops feature Prime Minister Modi, the billboards outside underpasses feature Prime Minister Modi, the electric poles feature only Prime Minister Modi, and even near Pragati Maidan, there's only Prime Minister Modi's poster. Flags of G20 countries are displayed in many places, but the posters feature only Prime Minister Modi. You see the Prime Minister's poster so often that it feels like this isn't the G20, but Modi-20. At this conference, Modi is both the guest and the host. Modi is coming from France, Modi is coming from Japan, Modi is coming from the United States, and Modi is coming from Egypt. Modi is coming, Modi is welcoming Modi. India has given its slogan to the G20: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the world is one family, but there's no mention of the other members of the family. These posters suggest that this global family has only one member and is its sole leader. Is this ideal hosting?
