Starting at the bottom of the push-up position can make your push-ups stronger, safer, and more effective. It allows you to start with your shoulders in an optimal position right from rep one.
#1- Warm-up with some cat-cow reps paying attention to using scapular retraction and protraction.
#2- Strength phase: perform a 5x5 push-up workout using either progressive technique or weighted push-ups as you like.
#3- Finisher phase: chest flys with your method of choice for 12-15 reps.
