Let's Make Money! How To Sell On eBay Like A Pro!!
So I didn’t leave anything out! Well I did, but I rectified it, haha, I am sorry about my face! That’s how serious that point was though, that I would cancel everything and go back to the editing stage lol. Still waiting for my apology ahahaha. Anyways, I’ve listed everything that I spoke about down below!
I think the most important thing to remember is this does take work, patience and dedication. And dealing with people can take its toll, I won’t lie. But take a deep breath, and don’t take things personally, these people are strangers and who cares really. If you know you’re doing well and being honest, then that’s all that matters.

Stick to seasonal stuff.
Certain things do sell better, ie electrics, kids clothes and trending items.
Some stuff just will not sell ok, but remember they may very well sell three months down the line. If you can hold on to stuff, stick it out, eBay can be super random at the best of times.
Pictures.
Make sure your items are clean and well presented.
Good lighting is everything.
Use all 12 pictures.
Take pictures of everything! Embellishments, buttons, zips, close ups, fabric, holes, snags, the list is long ok. Just make sure they can see absolutely everything! Good and bad!
Listing.
Timing is everything.
For weekdays list between the times of 6:30pm-9pm
Weekends between 12:30pm - 8:30pm
Try list everything together as much as you can, this will help you with post office runs down the line.
Work out what the lowest is your willing to take on the item, and start the auction at that price.
Offers are a brilliant way of getting rid of stuff quickly, so ask yourself what’s the lowest you’ll take if you’re desperate and price it accordingly.
Buy it now and reserves are personally something I do not do, but if its for you, go ahead! Just remember eBay take a fee for these options.
Returns will be something you decide for yourself and the items you’re selling, however I do not accept returns unless it is my fault. Like I said, people take the piss, its up to you to decide if that’s something you can manage.
Make sure you put as much information as you can in the item specifics and into the description. It is handy to write out boring stuff, like you combine postage, everything is washed etc, before hand and just copy and paste!
Always hype your product, call on that cheesy sales person energy and let rip!
Now when coming to chose how long you give yourself to post, work it out with your schedule in mind. Its very important you don’t get delayed postage notifications. You do you.
Posting
ALWAYS HAVE EVERY PACKAGE SIGNED FOR!!!!
If someone has an issue, fine, but they take full responsibility for it, and even then I would urge you to stick to your guns and say no, pay for signed postage.
Remember every postage option comes with a certain amount of insurance, so take that into consideration when choosing. Make sure your item is covered accordingly. If you do not know what service you need, tell them at the post office and they’ll know.

Once you’ve made a sale.
If they do not pay and do not contact you, send a payment reminder, and its up to you how long you are willing to wait.
If you have to cancel a sale, make sure you list THEM as the reason of cancellation.
I always say hold an item though if someone asks you to.
Pack it well and nicely.
Fold clothes well.
Include a thank you note!
Make sure the address is written well. Block capital letters. No scribbling!
If you want to go the extra mile, cover the address in celotape!
Its up to you if you want to write a return address.
