Breast Self Awareness
🗣HUMANS WITH BREASTS (which is EVERY HUMAN BTW!) : Please be AWARE OF YOUR BODIES!

💙The purpose of “breast self awareness” is JUST that—get to know them!

🧿While data exists on BOTH sides as to whether or not “self breast exams” actually detected MORE CANCERS or SAVED MORE LIVES—I think that outside of evidence based medicine we can ALL agree on the merits of KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE! (right?)

🧿SO rather than AVOID self awareness because of (here’s the list I hear daily):
❓I don’t know what I’m looking for…
❓everything feels like lump!
❓I get anxious I’m going to find something!
⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

INSTEAD: how about “just get to know them as you SHOULD any other part of your body so that IF you feel something DIFFERENT, you CALMLY CALL YOUR DOC to lay out a plan!”

👊 Remember if we are PROACTIVE BUT NOT PARANOID we can more likely FIND AND FIX things!
👊 Just do it, monthly—it’s easy!
