Eduardo Martin-Martinez is Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Waterloo. There, he studies the interplay between relativistic quantum information, measurement theory, and quantum gravity. In his conversation with Davide De Biasio, Professor Martin-Martinez touched on a variety of interesting topics: from the notion of quantum locality to the lack of a well-defined classical photon, from the ways in which the collapse of the wave function seems to stretch special relativity to recently conceived potential quantum gravity experiments.
