White-lined Sphinx Hummingbird Moth, Colorado
A Hummingbird Moth feeding from flowers. Second half shows a close-up slow-motion of it, illustrating the long proboscis on a long flower, as it feeds and curls the proboscis in and out.
Believed to be a "white-lined sphinx" hummingbird moth, the adult form of the most common hornworm of Colorado.
