In this video, I explain the differences between full range of motion and partial range of motion, including which one is better for hypertrophy, strength, and rehab.

Full range of motion training is best for training strength, because in order to demonstrate strength of a range you have to actually move through that range.

Partial range of motion can be useful when trying to improve hypertrophy of a specific muscle group, gain stability in a specific range of motion, and continue stimulating a muscle when there is a painful range of motion for a particular movement.
