USE FOUR MAGIC WORDS IN THE FIRST 10 SECONDS OF YOUR VIDEO to Increase Watchtime
growing your reach and getting wellknown in your target group is a fast growth tactic. Making vlogs can be tedious and hard word. So tell more about your work instead. But: give your video a really good start. Try this trick that I explain in the video. It is one of 5 tactics I teach to give your video suc a good start that your viewer is gripped and glued to the screen and stays there untill the end. Making simple short video's is a great way to use video marketing as a part of your social media marketing and you actually make friends of your future clients at the same time they become your client.
Your target group will feel you are easy to acces and will have felt they actuallly met you even though they have only seen you in a video.

[filming extra shots of myself]
When you make videos for your business, technique seems really important. The right camera, the perfect microphone, lights and greenscreens. That is all nonsense, of course. The technique is a piece of cake, you really don't need to know anything. What you do need is know how to make your viewer curious enough to keep watching until the end of your video.
[shows packet of matches]
You don't do that by saying hello, hello, or by telling a lot of stuff about yourself. What you must do is use proven effective storytelling techniques. Engage your viewer in your story from the very start. I teach these techniques in my videos, so that your video gets the attention it deserves.
[at the table with a candle and a match]
The oldest technique in the world also works in videos. You don't have to do anything complicated. Just say the 4 magic words and you're done. Then you take advantage of what all people are like: we love a good story. When we hear: once upon a time, well, we sit down and we stay up until your call to action at the end of your video.
[Lighting a match]
Once upon a time, there was a poor entrepreneur. Every day he, or she, posted beautiful photos and texts on social media. And every day he, or she, thought: if only more customers would come to me automatically.
Or: once upon a time there was a webshop that no one could find through Google. Or: once upon a time there was a TV director that could no longer travel around the world for her work, because she was a single parent to a baby, and then thought: now I'm finally going to help entrepreneurs use video to become visible...
Once upon a time there was a restaurant, a carpenter, a coach. Once upon a time... Make a good story out of what you want to tell. Start with 'once upon a time'. And then finish it well. Because all of your viewers will be on the edge of their seats.
