Lithuanian pianist Aronas Ruminas performs Polonaise in G-sharp Minor, Op. Posth. by Frederic Chopin. The recording was made live during the Klaipėda Piano Masters open-air performance at the Klaipėda Sea Festival 2023.

Polonaise in G-sharp minor was composed in 1822 when Chopin was just 12 years old. It was first published posthumously in 1864. Dominated by arpeggiated figuration and decoration (at the expense, arguably, of melody), its orbit is one essentially of elegance rather than impulse.

Aronas Ruminas (2010) was the youngest participant in the history of KPM at the age of 13. He has won prizes at 14 national and international competitions, including the 1st prize at the "World Art Games" in Spain, the 1st prize at the “Music without Limits” competition in Druskininkai, and the Grand Prix at the "Olimpo musicale" competition in Kaunas. He made his debut with the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra at the age of 12. He currently studies with Valdone Kučinskienė at the Klaipėda Eduardas Balsys arts gymnasium.
