Both of these pursuits give Claire the ability to change lives in different ways.
She pursued neuroscience when an accident dramatically impacted her twin sister's life.
But during the process of applying to PhD programs, Claire realized that so many people with the grit and desire to earn a PhD were being turned away from prestigious universities simply because they didn't understand the process.
