Most people know the book of Judges for its cycles of sin and deliverance. But very few ever hear the full story of Ehud and Eglon.
In Judges chapter 3, God raises up an unlikely deliverer. Ehud is left handed, weak by the world’s standards, and overlooked. His enemy is Eglon, the king of Moab, a man of extreme indulgence and false security.
This is not a random or embarrassing story. Every detail is intentional. From Ehud’s restricted right hand, to the hidden dagger, to the private chamber, this account shows how God uses weakness to judge power and obedience in secret to bring public deliverance.
In this video, we walk verse by verse through Judges 3 and uncover what this story teaches us about God’s sovereignty, courage, obedience, and spiritual warfare.
If you have ever felt overlooked, weak, or unqualified, this story is for you.

Unforsaken is dedicated to exegetical Bible study grounded in discernment, sound hermeneutics, and the authority of Scripture. Our mission is simple: to discover what the Bible actually says about doctrine by reading passages in context and allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture.
We are not interested in repeating tradition for tradition’s sake, nor are we bound by what men in the past thought the Bible said. Instead, we carefully examine the text, its context, and its consistent message across Scripture to arrive at faithful, biblical conclusions.
Every teaching here is aimed at clarity, honesty, and depth—so believers can grow in confidence, test all things, and stand firmly on the Word of God.
