Windows protected your PC: Click More Info. Windows 10 preventing me from running fire tool box
Windows 10 tries to help sometimes. This time it wasn't
I wanted to run fire toolbox to declutter my fire 10 hd tablet from amazon.
Sadly, the error message "Windows protected your PC"
"Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. More Info."
There is only the button
"Don't Run"
Anyways... I knew I wanted to run the app.
So... of course microsoft hid the option to run.
You need to click the "More Info" link.. and then it will show the button "Run Anyways"
Soo.. that's my short story with windows. Yay!
