"No other human bio-signatures in the immediate area. Detection of four localized intense EMF fields with high incidence scatter rates."

Monroe knew the implication already. "So they are fucking invisible?"

"To the humans, yes. But not to Damont. Damont? Put up the vectors of those anomalies and the unit--and give me numbers. Do you have the three units' call signs?"

"Yes." Three enemy vectors lit up as well as the retreating unit vector and Damont added, "Northwest: SolarOracle-1, 97. Southwest: LightBeam-6, 87. Northeast: RadiantOrb-9, 92."

Monroe let out a brief forced chuckle saying, "Figures. I get it."

"Yeah, but unfortunately, there is a battery-sized group about to get it also and we don't have much time. They'll be slaughtered with that kind of visibility and we'll most likely be exposed losing any element of surprise. If official military what I am about to do will cause some serious backlash but I don't see any other options. In fact, it may terrify them. Maybe not."

"Damont. What kind of vehicles do they have and how many?"

The response was within seconds. "Two M110A2's, one M113, two M35's, eight M998's"

"Odd configuration for an official unit, but whatever."

"What are you..."

"Damont. I'm sure you've got the hopping pattern by now and I know you have a module similar to a magnetron. Tap into the nearest high power radio transmitter to SolarOracle and LightBeam and smear the entire FM spectrum with noise. Cover only the frequency range being used. It will delay them long enough for you to spoof their vocals and give new commands to RadiantOrb. Are they stationary yet?"

"Yes."

"Run a quick scan of the main tunnel area. If that is the direction they are advancing from there must be an exit or entrance nearby. Scan for any and all high EMF outputs. Mark all viable treeline locations with a one way FOV---I don't want the unit seen from the north. The enemy vectors are slow and still five and half miles to the north so my guess is that unit unknowingly passed by a monitored location too closely. I don't even think they know about the tunnel but they might have been looking just as we did."

"Have it. On screen now. Two external EMF sources detected."
