90 Millions of A&T Customers Affected!
Telecom giant AT&T reported that a hacker accessed call and text-message information for nearly all of its wireless subscribers. The breach targeted Snowflake, a third-party cloud workspace, which contained data from its cellular subscribers, mobile reseller brands, and landline customers who interacted with wireless customers between May and October 2022, as well as a small portion of records from January 2, 2023. AT&T is working with law enforcement on this matter, and at least one individual has been apprehended. An AT&T spokesperson informed CNN that this incident is completely unrelated to another incident disclosed in March. AT&T serves nearly 90 million cellphone subscribers, excluding reseller brands using its network.
