Second moebius strip with LEDs
The small prototype was made out of card board, hot glue and tape while this new and bigger strip is laminated and painted plywood. It takes some abuse. I made some more strips just in case someone likes it. There are 1421 RGB LEDs, on full brightness they draw 430 watts of power. That's for blinding your guests. Currently it's loaded up with aphorisms so it can crack wise sayings until the cows go home. The particular one in this video is from Julius Caesar, by the way. I love it's subversive tone. The others are similar. They each run for a minute or so, then a random next smartism goes on display.
