Chocolate Chip Cookies | My Easy and Delicious Recipe | How I Make Cookies
A true classic. Chocolate chip cookies are the pinnacle of cookies, and I'm going to show you how I make mine with this easy and delicious recipe. Let's go!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
3 Cups Flour
2 Tsp. Corn Starch
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Fine Sea Salt
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter (Melted)
1 Egg plus 1 Egg Yolk
2 Tsp. Vanilla
10oz Chocolate Chips or Chopped Chocolate
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt together
2. In a separate bowl, mix brown and white sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
3. Mix together half of your dry ingredients with your wet ingredients until incorporated
4. Mix in remaining dry ingredients
5. Once incorporated, add in your chocolate chips
6. Cover and let dough rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator while your oven preheats to 350F
7. On a baking sheet with parchment paper, scoop 2 tablespoon size balls (less if you want smaller cookies) NOTE Bake cookies 2 minutes less if you're making smaller cookies
8. Use something with a flat surface to press down cookie balls to about a half inch tall
9. Bake for 7 -9 minutes Do not overbake
10. Let cool on a rack. Add course sea salt if you prefer
