Disclaimer I am just a noob trying game development. I have very basic programming knowledge and only do basic blueprints with a bit of background on 3d. I am a pathologist by profession but game development is quite intriguing to tackle. I use a lot Youtube tutorials, templates and got help from other expert programmers to learn unreal engine.
This just is for testing how my character feels in an existing environment and hopefully do my own level design. I am almost done with the core character stuff for my game. I sought help to expand and modify my existing inventory and some hard logic stuff. Don't forget to subscribe :)
Character features (almost done):
FPS animations (upper body) blended to lower body animations
procedural weapon sway
procedural recoil and recovery
left hand IK
leaning
procedural footsteps
Pending:
find a better/smoother first person prone/crawl using hand IK, FPS ladder climb and hopefully hire some animators someday.
