Bounty cake recipe
Bounty cake is a dessert inspired by the popular Bounty chocolate bar, which is filled with sweet coconut and coated in chocolate. The cake features layers of rich chocolate sponge, combined with a creamy coconut filling. It is covered with a chocolate glaze, resembling the flavors of the Bounty bar.
INGREDIENTS:
For the chocolate sponge:
4 eggs
120 g sugar
30 ml oil
1-2 tbsp rum essence (optional)
1/2 tsp baking powder
90 g flour
30 g cocoa powder
salt
For the coconutcream:
500 ml milk
75 g semolina
100 g sugar
150 g coconut flakes
75 g butter
For the chocolate glaze:
100 g chocolate
2 tbsp milk
20 g butter
