In Defense of an Ocarina of Time Remake
After NateTheHate dropped a bombshell report on the gaming community last Friday, the internet was ablaze with discussion about the Ocarina of Time Remake that he teased was coming in the Fall for the Nintendo Switch 2. Many fans expressed trepidation about such a release, asking why Nintendo would risk altering one of the most beloved games of all-time. Personally, I think there are a number of reasons why an OOT Remake could be really exciting -- so, in this video, I discuss why YOU should be excited for the potential of an OOT Remake. Why aren’t I worried about Nintendo “ruining” a classic? What do Eiji Aonuma, Shigeru Miyamoto, and Yoshiaki Koizumi have to do with it? And how could the remake help development of the next mainline 3D Zelda?! I talk about all of that in today’s video!
