BPX Solutions Tutorial - General Maintenance for Side Sealers
This tutorial will give you some basic general maintenance guidelines to maintaining your side sealer. For this tutorial, we used our PP-5545TBJ Side Sealer.
1.) Turn on the machine and let the knife heat up.
2.) While waiting, use dry compressed air to remove any dirt or debris.
3.) Wear safety gloves and wipe the heated knife with a clean cloth.
4.) Check the teflon tape condition and replace it if burnt.
5.) Turn on your shrink tunnel and set the conveyor speed to maximum.
6.) Using a hi-temp chain lube, lube up both of the chains of the shrink tunnel conveyor.
These simple and easy steps will ensure your side sealer will last long.
