The camera has a fully articulated LCD screen with a diagonal of 3 inches with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 1620 thousand pixels. Its angle and position can be easily changed, which allows you to shoot from waist level or above your head. This is a new experience for me, since before the R6 there was a SLR camera with a Canon 5D mark II fixed-type screen.
I already know from experience that viewers who are not related to EOS R6 come to the channel, and a discussion may begin in the comments about the insufficient size of 3 inches, about not the highest resolution, about the screen frames, but when I bought this camera, I clearly knew what I was going for, what I was paying for and was content with what I had. If the screen resolution is not enough for you, take a closer look at EOS R5 or EOS R3. In these Canon cameras, the screen has more dots and is enlarged by 5 mm))).
All camera settings can be easily found and selected using the touch screen, without having to press any physical buttons, which helps reduce the risk of moving the camera.
In addition to the usual touch of the screen with your finger, we can apply drag and drop – you just touch the screen and swipe it with your finger. This feature is not limited only in the menu, dragging can be used to move the captured video files along the timeline.
I tell you in detail how the image display switches from the screen to the viewfinder; how to organize the amount of information displayed during shooting (I use the "INFO" button and mention the "Quick control - the "Q" button); clearly show how you can change the current histogram; demonstrate in sufficient detail how focusing works in magnification mode when viewing (5x, 10x); how using lenses with RF mount you can display the focal length; how the touch shutter release works; how to adjust the image viewing after shooting; In an accessible language, I'm talking about dragging the AF point and the active sensor area; how to activate energy saving and the principle of Eco-mode operation.
I hope that this video will find its audience!
