Distract them with chew toys, treats, or play, and consider playing calming music or white noise to mask the storm sounds. Close blinds and curtains to minimize the visual impact of lightning, and use calming products like anxiety wraps or pheromone diffusers if needed. Lastly, have a plan for evacuation that includes pet-friendly shelters or hotels, ensuring you’re prepared for any situation.
