95 percent of RNs fail. They leave the IV tubing full of antibiotic.
Nursing instructors and textbooks do not guide students or nurses on how to program an IV pump to give the entire dose of IV antibiotics.
This video teaches the missing information so that nurses will program the IV pump with sufficient "volume to be infused" or VTBI to flush all of the antibiotic out of the IV tubing.
