Expert Excel With Dr. Chang - Episode 3
Creating Dynamic Charts with Tables
Charts in Excel are usually created as a Static Chart. When you have to update the data, the charts are not updated, and you have to modify the chart settings to include the added data.
One approach to fix the issue is to use Dynamic Charts by using Tables.
Format the Data Range used in the Chart as a Table.
To format the Data Range as a Table do the following:
1) Select the Data Range
2) Click on "Home" Menu
3) Click on "Format as Table" icon
4) Create a Chart using the Data in the Table
Once you created a Chart with the data on the Table, you can add data to the Table and the Chart will automatically updated based on the new values put into the Table.

The next Episode of Expert Excel would examine another Dynamic Chart approach in which we would be creating Dynamic Charts that can compare two datasets with each other.
If there are any requests for Excel Tips and Tricks, please write them down in the comment and I'll try to create a video answer in the future.
