For this edition of STUDIORAMA Sessions, Ikkubaru has collaborated with Anggun Priambodo.
This work is based on Anggun's experience as a native Jakarta citizen. He finds that glowing baton is a delightful symbol of Jakarta's busy streets, instead of light poles, street lights, or even traffic lights.
According to Ikkubaru, their City Pop music is not only influenced by J-culture but also the environment and architectures of the city they are in (Bandung). Thus, Anggun--a true Jakartan--is triggered to capture this perception from his point of view.
He invites us to see it through this video where we can see Ikkubaru perform "City Hunter" inside a studio with playful parking attendants moving their glowing batons around the band.
