In this video i go over how you can remove your personal information as well as any comments you have submitted before
sharing a Word document with others.
Perhaps you would like to share a Word document with other people online or in any other setting, but you wouldn't
like to share your personal information with them. Here's how you can remove your personal information, such as
your personal details and any comments and prevent people from finding out who last edited a document.
Click on file and from the info tab - screen, from the "Inspect document" section, click on "Check for Issues" and then
select "Inspect document" and then click on "Inspect". The Document Inspector will highlight any potential privacy issues, such as your personal
information and any comments included in the document.
If any potential issues are found you will see a red exclamation mark next to the relevant section, for example next
to the section "Document Properties and Personal Information" or the section "Comments, Revisions and Versions".
In order to resolve any privacy issues and remove any information you would like to keep private and not share with others
click on "Remove all". As you can see now, your personal information, as well as any comments you have submitted
have been removed by your document and you can safely share it with others. Now someone opening your document won't
be able to find the document's author or who last modified your Word document.
