Micky Maganini presented at the SERVIR's Geo-AI Working Group meeting on April 17, 2024.

Mick Maganini works as a Research Associate for SERVIR, supporting Weather & Climate Resilience thematic area. Micky hold a B.S. in Geology and a minor in geophysics and planetary physics from UCLA. His research interests include the application of differential interferometric SAR to monitor surface deformation.

In this talk, Micky led a discussion of good practices in the context for collecting reference data (both training and validation) for land cover/machine learning related application.
