Legacy - Tim Brooks
An original from my most recent EP.
I got really drunk with some uni friends in 2016 near Waterloo, which culminated with two of us sitting down on the South Bank. I'd just started recording and performing music, she was just about to go travelling to South America for a year. Alcohol was 100% talking on our behalf, but we were saying that we'd all meet up in 5 years and things would be so totally different, and that if everything ended in that time, what our legacy would be.
When I do acousticy folky music it doesn't give me much chance to go wild on the guitar solos, so I really relished my chance with this one!
