2003 Trailblazer front seat belt replacement - down to the seat frame and back
I wanted to put the leather seat from Minty Green into my 2003 Trailblazer but it needed a little work. What was originally planned was to swap out the seat belts but after seeing that a memory seat frame could be swapped into a non memory seat vehicle, this turned into a full blown frankenseat build. The drivers seats from my 2003 and 2004 were broken down to the bare frames, and the best parts were used to make one super awesome seat and another seat that sucks but does give you free dandruff whenever you use the seat belt.
I took the time to make a text annotation in the video but since some people can't read I will type it out here as well - once the seat from my 2003 got the 2004 wiring installed, it would NO LONGER WORK IN THE 2003. Once the seat from my 2004 got the 2003 wiring installed, it would NO LONGER WORK IN THE 2004. You can swap a lot of parts between a memory seat and a standard power seat, but the wiring aint one. A future video will cover this more in depth.
Also, I had to edit out the original music by Project Pat (that's what I was listening to when I was working on my seats), so I used music from YouTubes audio library. The track is "Stranger Danger" from Francis Preve. YouTube said I didn't have to give credit for using this music but I appreciated having something to put in there so thank you Francis Preve.
