DARKSIDERS || Deathinitive Edition Part 2 -The Cauldron, Lost & Found 1 - Deathinitive Difficulty - NO COMMENTRAY
After defeating the Crowfather, Death is sent to a dying world where the Makers (Old Ones) live. After speaking with Eideard, one of the Makers, Death learns that the path to the Tree of Life in this world is blocked by corruption. To reach the Tree, Death will need the help of the Makers. The Makers created a massive construct called the Guardian to clear the way to the Tree of Life, but to activate it, they need a key. To create the key, two elements are required: the Fire of the Mountain and the Tears of the Mountain, both of which were lost due to corruption.
The first task for Death is to restore the Fire of the Mountain, which is located in a dungeon called The Cauldron. This dungeon is filled with enemies and obstacles that Death must overcome to return the Fire to the Makers' forge.
In this part, Death will meet several important characters: Thane, who will train him in combat moves; Muria, the shaman, who will craft various materials to help Death on his journey; Alya and her brother Valus, who will provide Death with weapons and armor; and finally, Kran, whom Death encounters while exploring near the Cauldron.
Death will also undertake the first part of a side quest called "Lost and Found." In this quest, Karn, one of the Makers, asks Death to find his Silver Platter (Journeyman Platter), which he lost in the Cauldron a long time ago.
The last character Death will meet in this world is a demon named Vulgrim, who will assign Death one of the longest quests in the game: collecting the pages of the Book of the Dead.
There are many collectibles in this section, including 6 Boatman Coins, 2 pages from the Book of the Dead, and a Legendary weapon called the Dark Avenger.
Finally, there is a trophy called "The Pathfinder" (Bronze Trophy). To unlock this trophy, all you need to do is use fast travel on the map instead of riding Death's horse, Despair.
