Spaghetti with cod and pepper sauce | Quick and delicious fish recipe
With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a delicious meal. And if you are a real "fish" gourmet, then you will appreciate our recipe for spaghetti with cod in pepper sauce.
Ingredients:
Spaghetti - 300 gr.;
Bulgarian red pepper - 2 pcs.;
Pre-soaked cod without skin - 300 gr.;
Chili pepper - 1 pc.;
Garlic - 2 cloves;
Bay leaf - 1 pc.;
Salt;
Lemon peel;
Olive oil.
Cooking:
1. Wash and cut the pepper into small pieces. Fry it in a skillet with olive oil and garlic. Salt while frying.
2. Transfer the fried peppers to a bowl with high edges and bring to a creamy state with a blender and set aside for now.
3. Cut the washed cod into cubes and transfer to a bowl. Add chili pepper, lemon zest and a little olive oil. Stir with a spoon so that all the flavors are combined into one bouquet.
4. Heat a drop of oil in a frying pan, add garlic, chopped bay leaf and cod. It is necessary to fry cod quite a bit so as not to lose its taste and softness! Then remove the garlic and transfer everything to a bowl.
5. Boil spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water. Pour the pepper sauce into the pan and heat up.
6. Drain the spaghetti when they are almost done (al dente) and transfer them to the skillet with the pepper sauce
7. Completely spaghetti will be ready in the sauce in a pan, you can add cod oil. If the sauce is very thick, then you need to add a little water from under the preparation of spaghetti.
8. Put the spaghetti on a plate. Top with cod cubes and some grated lemon zest. Spaghetti with cod and pepper sauce is ready to serve. Enjoy!
