How to Tag Someone on YouTube
You no longer can tag someone on YouTube directly, but this does not mean you cannot tag at all.
📌 How to tag someone on YouTube in the comments
In the past when Google+ was alive and well 😎 YouTube users could tag anyone. Now, as Google+ shut down for personal use, there is no way to tag another user in comments directly❗ (@username does not work).
But you can hit "REPLY" to the comment posted by the user you want to tag in your comment. Then, write up your response and hit REPLY. The username will turn blue and the user would be tagged in your comment.
❗ Note, this only works when you reply to another reply. Otherwise, you will see just a comment without tagging that user.
😥 As of 2021, YouTube users cannot tag creators and other users in their video titles or descriptions using @channelname or @username.
Well, at least you still can mention a creator if he/she posts a comment under a certain video.
