Ooh we are getting there! Having got the wet room floor done it is time to install plumbing in our DIY Loft Conversion.
We wanted a completely independant shower system so if anyone else in the house hit the shower it doesn't affect us. This meant a cold header tank with hot water cylinder which is gravity fed below. To make this work we had to fit a shower pump installation, which ideally would go below the tank but you can get them above, so long as you put in dedicated vents and also a minimum of 600mm cold tank to pump.
So I install sink and toilet wastes, all of the plumbing, hot water tank, pump and the lines to hte sink, toilet and shower.
I also install a digital shower system.
So what do we end up with? Well all. is working. This has allowed me to test the plumbing for leaks after which I can close it all i and then start the final step of building thefinal wall.
Oh - and wait for the sneeky appearance of the new round window !!
