This is the Irish version of this famous song, not only song at the capstan of an Irish ships but also was popular among the dockers of Cork and Cobh. Mentioned "Holly Ground" in the song is a poor quarter of Cobh, inhabitated mainly by fishermen. Song is also known under title "The Cobh Sea Shanty".
The song will be reconstructed by myself as the brake windlass shanty.
