Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 on Steam Deck Analysis (Early Access)
Baldur's Gate 3 is still in early access, but it recently received it's 8th major patch. I haven't checked the game out on the Steam Deck yet, but I love Larian Studios and Divinity Original Sin 2 so I decided to give it a shot. Currently as it stands the game exhibits some graphical issues while using Vulkan which is unfortunate and that would run without a compatibility layer on the Steam Deck. While using DX11 and proton though we get good performance for the game given how nice its graphics are. I wanted to check out the new Bard class and Gnome race with this patch too so I gave that a peek while playing on the Steam Deck. The controls on the Steam Deck work pretty well currently, but I look forward to full blown controller support hopefully coming in the future. I can't wait for BG3 to come out as the game keeps getting better and is already fantastic.
