Celebrating National Tourism Week 2023 - April 24th - 29th
Did you know that this week is National Tourism Week?
Tourism in Canada contributes a lot to our economy, helping local businesses as well as allowing for Canadians to experience different regions and cultures.
Through the Newmarket Chamber and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, our community has many wonderful activities that help promote the tourism sector.
The Aurora Chamber just recently hosted their Home and Living Show, and hosts other activities and events like the Aurora Street Festival, a Golf Day, and a Women’s Luncheon coming up this May 11th.
The Newmarket Chamber hosts a variety of events annually, like the Newmarket Home and Lifestyle Show, the Women in Business Luncheon, and the Business Excellence Awards.
Both chambers continuously support the tourism industry here in Canada and promote small businesses.
